A tribute to Jack Welch

Jack Welch, who has been General Electric Chairman and CEO during twenty years, from 1981 to 2001, has passed away yesterday, March 2nd. He was 84 years old. He had transformed the company to make it the highest Wall Street market capitalization, reaching 400 billion dollars when he retired, and especially, both regarding large company management and strategic issues he acquired at the dawn of globalization and he remains a benchmark. In the horizon 2050...

 We have lost count of the declarations assorted with very long term objectives, in the horizon…So, the European Union is forecasting, in the horizon 2050 to have a carbon neutral economy, objective which has been supported by France. The United Kingdom, in the horizon 2040, will forbid the sale of fossil fuel vehicles. France had decided to cap the share of the nuclear power production at 50% in 2025.
